Cardiovascular Services Consultative Cardiology & Arrhythmia Clinic
Our providers have been providing expert cardiovascular care to the Citrus County, FL community since January of 1992. Our Cardiovascular Care Center providers specialize in referral to clinical cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, vascular and endovascular medicine, cardiac and vascular imaging, and congestive heart failure.
Modern technology gives patients and doctors more information than ever before about heart and blood vessels. There are also many more treatment options and sometimes conservative management is a better choice than the latest surgical or interventional procedure. There is no “one size fits all” method in treating heart and blood vessel disease. We offer the opportunity to consult with our Board-Certified Physician, Dr. Abadier, to help you and your family decide what approach may be best for you. We are happy to give a second opinion and are happy to work with your physician to formulate a care plan that works for you.
Many factors, including lifestyle, hereditary, and medical, can affect your risk for developing heart disease. Some factors, such as lack of exercise, poor diet, and smoking are within your control. While others, such as a family history of heart disease, are not.
Our providers also head and participate in a number of cardiovascular clinical research trials. Dr. Abadier is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). Our comprehensive array of consultative, invasive, and interventional cardiovascular services include the following:
- Coronary artery and valvular heart disease
- Congestive heart failure, pericardial disease, and cardiomyopathies
- Carotid and peripheral vascular disease
- Arrhythmia (heart rhythm disorders) management
- Pre-operative cardiovascular evaluation
- Hypertension and lipid (cholesterol) disorders
